The Enemy - Band Research

The Enemy are a 3 piece band from Coventry who formed in 2006 and fall into the indie-punk-rock genre. They tend to base their music around the idea of friendship and social commentary, meaning they express the way they feel about society. The band consists of lead singer and guitarist Tom Clarke, bass player Andy Hopkins and drummer Liam Watts. The music they produce is aimed at mainly working class people as their songs tend to be about common situations such as being stuck in a mundane job.
The awards they have received are:

  •  Q Awards – Best New Act (awarded October 2007), 
  • XFM Awards – Best British Debut Album of 2007 (awarded January 2008)
  • NME Awards – Best New Band (awarded February 2008)

Music Videos produced by Diamond Dogs are usually simple and basic, not that expensive and reflect the lyrics. Previous work by these have been 'The Cribs - Mirror Kisses' and 'The Hoosiers - Worried About Ray'
